After the Turning is about the season just after change has occurred, when you’re no longer who you were, but you’re still learning who you are becoming. This piece holds both warmth and shadow, memory and possibility. The layered marks and shifting color carry the feeling of standing in a new place without a map, noticing what remains and what is still unfolding. Built through drawing and layered paint, this work is less about arrival and more about movement, a quiet marker in the ongoing practice of becoming.
