Back in January 2020 I figured out my artistic voice just from eating a bagel and I thought I would share what I wrote.
To whom it may concern,
I just had a bagel and all the work I’ve been doing to figure out my voice came together in a single bite. Yes, I had an aha moment eating my bagel. It wasn’t just any bagel but an everything on it bagel and I haven’t had a bagel in a few years, so I really wanted it. I am getting ready to restart keto so bagels will not be in the list. This bagel was made yesterday from a chain shop that sells bagels so it wasn’t the freshest it could be. I decided to toast it lightly to add something more than just eating it plain. After it popped up, I thought I need some butter on here so I slathered it will over and watched it start to melt. I sat down and opened up some garden vegetable cream cheese spread and put some on my plate that I could pile on while eating it. First bite exploded in my mouth yet was creamy from the cream cheese and butter, chunky bits of veggies crunched as I chew. Holy everything in this world it was so freaking good I felt like I was in heaven. Took another bite and boom amazing experience yet again. As I sat eating this perfect little thing, I realized who I am. The clouds parted and the sun beamed and said yes that is who you are. If you look at my Pinterest boards it will show the same thing that eating that bagel told me. I am a little bit of everything all rolled into one chewy, hot, melted, crunchy, dreamy, colorful, simple yet complicated bite. The work I started 5 years ago if figuring out who I am and what my voice is just came together. The mastery course has us working on our voice now.

Since I wrote this piece, I took some more online tests where it showed creative as number one archetype with smaller but equal amounts of explorer and sage. I am however every bit of what I wrote. Truley being authentic and expressing yourself is so freeing. Do you know who you are, what you stand for, and what you really like?
