My whole world just came tumbling down
my Indigo is no longer with me
I am lost
These were the first words that I read yesterday. This facebook post reminded me that you never know how much time you will have left to live. My friend’s daughter was shot in the chest by someone. Their family doesn’t know who this person is and they are still on the loose.
It’s just been a rough month for my family with the loss of my mother-in-law. She survived 2 rounds of lung cancer, but it was covid that finally took her. The last conversation we had with her was over FaceTime while in the way to see them. All the calls from the hospital told us to get there asap. We didn’t make it in time to be there, but we tried.
We were in Indiana for 2 weeks making arrangements, taking care of the property and going in and out of ICU. My father-in-law just got transferred to a rehab facility to try to recover as much as he can after being in ICU himself
The last 2 years have been hard on everyone with all the loss of people we know not to mention the disruption of daily life as we know it. More disruptions are coming because Russia decided to invade the Ukraine. I hope and pray whatever this is ends quickly but it doesn’t feel like it at all.
We don’t know what the future holds.
Don’t wait to tell those important to you that you love them. Don’t put off using those special dishes. Don’t put off taking care of yourself. If you want to paint … paint.
Live your life to the fullest!
Cathy
