Mikatke oasin means everything is connected. I am human as are you and we are all connected even to the sun, moon, and stars. The sky was so dark on my trip in the middle of the gulf that I felt like I could reach out and touch the stars. Speaking of stars, did you know that the human brain looks like the universe? When you compare the neurons in the human brain to the cosmic web of galaxies, they look the same. The brain has nearly 100 billion neurons that form 100 trillion neural connections and these neurons make up less than 25 percent the mass of your brain, leaving the remaining 75 percent as water. The math is the same for the universe with only around 25 percent of the matter in the universe is visible. The remaining 75 percent is dark matter. Everything in our universe is operating off the same rules of physics.
Over the course of living our lives we have shared many of the same thoughts and feelings because we are human. Even though we all live separate lives and enjoy different things we are all living a human existence and have shared experiences. Our DNA is so similar, yet we are each unique as there is only one of us to ever exist. Each of us is special and yet so similar!
I sing
I paint, therefore I exist.
I live
I breathe in every moment and relish it
I taste everything including colors
I see you like really see you. Into the depths of your heart and soul. Yes, I am woo woo like that
I often get told that I am a bad judge of character, but I don’t think so even with all the idiosyncrasy of you. What makes one rock better than another? Nothing at all. They are just different. Different colors, sizes, shapes, and one could argue one is better than another but not really. It’s the same with us humans. We are all on our path and different ages, shapes, sizes, and personalities. We were all made in the image of our Father who looks upon each of us smiling equally. He does not go to one corner of the earth and choose just one. He chooses us all. We are all His children, and, in that regard, we are also all family.
After I am gone the things that I have created, will continue on bring you joy for a while. My DNA will continue down through my children’s children. All the years of genealogy and the effort of putting together all that data will hopefully make someone happy they found it one day.
I hope you have enjoyed me working through all the letters and correspondence that triggered the blog posts for the last 22 days. I hope my energy and colors will go on at least for a little while in your heart if not on your walls.
Smiling at you and offering a warm hug
Be kind to one another
Cathy
